Kantipur: 12 Nepali women on the Great Himalayan Trail
In March 2025 a team of twelve Nepali women, led by Maya Gurung, set out to walk the Great Himalayan Trail from Taplejung in the east to Darchula in the far west. Roughly 1,700 kilometres across seventeen mountain districts, planned as a hundred-day walk.
