Everest Women Treks & Expedition was founded by trailblazing climbers Maya Gurung and Shailee Basnet, members of the historic Seven Summits Women Team – the first Nepali female group to climb Mt. Everest in 2008 and later all seven continental summits. Their journey is not only about reaching peaks but also about opening doors for women in Nepal’s tourism and adventure industry.

With nearly two decades of experience, our leaders design journeys that challenge the body, uplift the spirit, and build community. From classic Himalayan treks to off‑the‑beaten trails, we offer experiences that are safe, soulful, and unforgettable.

Our mission goes beyond tourism. Through initiatives like the Female Leadership Academy of Nepal, we have trained hundreds of young women – including survivors of trafficking and marginalized communities – to become trekking guides, mountaineers, and leaders.
