- Dawn Departure, flight from Kathmandu to Lukla: Flight to Lukla with aircraft gliding above rolling hills and snowcapped peaks, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas, a prelude to the adventure ahead.
- Arrival and Lunch in Lukla: Touch down at the legendary Lukla airstrip, gateway to the Everest region.
- Trek to Phakding with Immersion in Sherpa Culture: With your professional guide leading the way, embark on a gentle trek through pine forests, suspension bridges, and charming Sherpa villages. Along the path, encounter warm smiles and glimpses of daily life in the Himalayas. Prayer wheels, mani stones, and fluttering flags remind you of the spiritual heartbeat of this region.
- Evening Rest in Phakding: Arrive at Phakding, a serene riverside village nestled among towering hills. Here, a luxury lodge awaits, offering comfort and tranquility after your first day on the trail. Enjoy a wholesome dinner and rest.
- Phakding to Monjo: Start the trek from Phakding, following the Dudh Koshi River and passing small villages until reaching Monjo, the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park.
- Lunch and Ascent: Pause for lunch at a local tea house, then begin the steady uphill climb towards Namche Bazaar. Check into the lodge, and rest overnight at Namche.
Namche Bazaar is a bustling Sherpa town in the Everest region, known as the gateway to the Himalayas, where trekkers find lodges, shops, and acclimatization stops before continuing higher into the mountains.
- Morning Hike: Begin the day with a hike from Namche Bazaar to Syangboche, gaining altitude and enjoying views of surrounding peaks. Exploration at Syangboche, spend time at Syangboche, visit the airstrip area, and take in panoramic Himalayan scenery.
- Return to Namche: Hike back down to Namche Bazaar in the afternoon, allowing time for rest and acclimatization.
- Overnight Stay: Stay overnight at the lodge in Namche Bazaar, with dinner at the hotel.
- Morning Departure from Namche: Begin the trek early, retracing the trail through forests and villages along the Dudh Koshi River. Lunch en route, stop at a tea house for lunch and rest before continuing the final stretch of the trek.
- Arrival in Lukla: Reach Lukla in the late afternoon, check into the lodge, and stay overnight.
- Morning Flight to Kathmandu: Depart from Lukla and take the short flight back to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and rest.
- Hotel Stay: Refresh and relax at the hotel after the mountain journey.
- Visit to Patan or Bhaktapur Durbar Square: In the afternoon, visit either Patan Durbar Square or Bhaktapur Durbar Square, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites showcasing temples, palaces, and traditional Newar culture. The visit will be enriched by the presence of an expert in history and culture, who will provide clear insights and context to help you understand the history, heritage and community more deeply.
- Evening Return: Return to the hotel in Kathmandu for dinner and overnight stay.
